Share our Strength's Taste of the Nation

Simply put, Share Our Strength’s purpose is to end childhood hunger in America. By raising funds to support the most effective community-based programs that feed hungry children and partnering with organizations pursuing long-term solutions, Share our Strength helps to ensure that the more than 12 million children facing hunger have access to the nutritious food -30-New York Restaurant Insider they need to learn, grow and thrive. The event in S New York City, held at the Roseland Ballroom, was only one of over 70 events that are run simultaneously in cities across the country. Chefs and restaurateurs from 50 local restaurants donated their time, their food, and their staffs to feed over 1200 guests.
