Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York

The 2007 International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York, The largest restaurant and hospitality event in the Northeast, took place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City Sunday, March, 4th through Tuesday, March 6th, 2007. This year the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York offered over 200 of the newest and most innovative products introduced into the marketplace including technology, environmental safety, equipment, condiment/ingredient, beverage, appetizer, entrée, healthy food and dessert. During the first two days of the Show thousands of attendees cast their votes for their favorite new products that were on display. Events included the Ultimate Barista Challenge, the New York premiere event for professional baristas after preliminary rounds in Los Angeles and Orlando, the 18th Annual U.S. Pastry Competition, and the Japanese Demonstration Theater, which showcased historical food preparation techniques and highlighted new trends and innovations, sponsored by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

This year’s show was sold out for exhibitor space, and visitors in 2006 totaled 13,100.
